Welcome to Luminous Dayhome

Luminous Dayhome is a cozy, licensed dayhome in downtown, Fort McMurray where children can play, learn and grow in a space that feels like a second home.

It’s a place where they feel safe and comfortable while building confidence and learning independence.

Our Pre-K program helps kids get ready for kindergarten by learning through play, group activities, and everyday routines.

They practice sharing, taking turns, and working with others — all the small things that help them feel confident and ready for school.

Our daily activities include shadow matching, pretend play sessions, dancing, storytelling, and table work focused on shapes, letters, and colours.

We also serve nutritious meals and guide children in learning everyday values. A simple "thank you," "sorry," or "you're welcome" may seem small, but at this stage, it helps build the foundation of good character.

Daily breakfast, lunch, and 2 healthy snacks — made with care to keep little ones full and fueled all day.

Extended care is available for early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Just let us know your schedule at least a week in advance so we can prepare with care.

We offer dayhome transportation — school pickups and drop-offs to the dayhome available! Rates vary depending on location.
