What to Bring on Your Child’s First Day

A little preparation helps your child feel comfortable and ready for a wonderful day at Luminous Dayhome. Please label all belongings with your child’s name and bring:

• Comfortable indoor shoes
• A complete change of clothing
• Weather-appropriate outdoor gear
• Winter snow gear or a summer splash suit
• A personal water bottle
• A familiar comfort item, if needed
• Diapers and wet wipes for infants

We’ll take care of the learning, play, and smiles!

Safe, Healthy & Connected

Your child’s well-being is at the heart of everything we do. We provide a caring environment, clear health and safety practices, and consistent communication with families.

Health & Safety

Our health and safety guidelines are displayed on the Luminous Dayhome bulletin board near the entrance. Parents are encouraged to review them and speak with us whenever they have questions.

A Safe Environment

Children enjoy carefully supervised, age-appropriate activities in secure and thoughtfully arranged indoor and outdoor spaces.

Staying Connected

Parents receive updates through the Brightwheel app, including meals, naps, activities, photos, reminders, and important messages throughout the day.
